Nigerians living in communities bordering Cameroon, have started migrating to the Francophone country as Boko Haram in a fresh attack on another Borno village killed 29 persons.
THISDAY recalled that about two weeks ago the outlawed sect attacked Gamboru Ngala, a border town with Cameroon, killing about 300 persons and destroying million of Naira worth of property.
This attack made the people of the area threatened to flee into Cameroon, insisting that their security seems not guaranteed in Nigeria.
Due to the latest attack in Chukungduoa village of Gamboru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno state, few kilometres from Gamboru which was attacked two weeks ago, the people have made good their threat fleeing into Cameroon.
It was gathered that some suspected members of the deadly sect, Boko Haram laid ambush on the village on Wednesday morning.
The attack, according to one of the residents, Mallam Bakura Mustapha Alhaji, occurred barely 10 days after the withdrawal of military troops from the village.
