A resident of a street in San Diego, California was stunned to see a frequent pregnant beggar and her son drive off in a Mercedes after standing on the street and begging for money.

This pregnant woman and the little boy believed to be her son have always stood on the street every weekend holding a cardboard paper which reads “please help me” and collecting money from sympathetic passers-by.
On this fateful day, after collecting money from compassionate passers-by, the woman and the little boy were seen driven away in a Mercedes Benz by a man believed to be her husband.
The resident who saw her drove off in a Mercedes, Alisa Smith, followed in another car and was shocked to see the pregnant beggar and the man on the wheels counting the money realized and laughing.
Alisa took photos of them in the car and trailed them to another plaza where they planned to continue with their sham begging. It was at this plaza that she realized that she was being followed and photographed.
Another eye witness had called 911, but the woman had taken off with her son before police arrived.
The outraged onlooker, Alisa Smith who took photos of the couple and their son, contacted TV stations to expose the family, warning people to look out for them and avoid falling for their sham.
