Nigerian Idol Season 5: Yinka Davies Returns As Judge, Replaces Nneka

 
The season five of the reality TV show 'Nigerian Idol' has been officially launched. The unveiling was done during a Press Conference held at Mela Rossa.

Optima Media Group also revealed that past judge, Yinka Davies will be returning to the show, replacing season four's judge, Nneka.

The three-man panel of celebrity judges for the season were also unveiled as Darey Art-Alade, Yinka Davies and Dede Mabiaku.

The winner of Nigerian Idol Season Five will get N7.5 million, a Galaxy Tab, a phone, an iPod, a recording deal with Universal Music Company and a brand new SUV.

The first runner up gets N1.5million, a Galaxy Tab, a phone and an iPod while the second runner up gets N1 million, a Galaxy Tab, a phone and an iPod. All other finalists will also receive N100,000, a Galaxy Tab, a phone and an iPod.

Nigerian Idol Season 5 will be hosted by Illrymz.
