Glo Features 34 Celebs In New Campaign

Telecomms service provider, Globacom Limited, has said it is ready to launch its new campaign in which 34 Nigerian celebrities are featured.

The new campaign, which is coming with the theme “Go Ahead’ is to depict the essence of the Glo network as well as communicate its dynamism in voice, data and fixed lines.

This was made known in a statement by the company on Monday.

According to the statement, to feature in the campaigns are two popular Nollywood actors, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Sunday Omobolanle (Aluwe).

The campaign, which is aimed at inspiring the network subscribers to believe in the uniqueness of their talents, dreams and goals, will also be featuring 32 others.

Among them are the legendary Chika Okpala, (Zebrudaya) and his telly-wife, Lizzy Eveome, the Ovuleria of the now rested New Masquerade series.

Others are Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin), Madam Ibidun Allison, the Amebo of also rested the Village Headmaster and Madam Kofo Abiola, noted for her signature sky-scraper headgears.

To also feature are Saheed Mohammed (Funky Mallam), Morocco Maduka, Charles Awurum and Victor Osuagwu.

Also on the list are Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Saheed Osupa; a former Super Eagles striker, Daniel Amokachi, and the King of Galala Beats, Daddy Showkey.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ovation magazine, Dele Momodu, would be representing the aristocrats on the list, the statement said.

John Okafor (Mr. Ibu), Bishop Ime, (Okon Lagos), Chinwetalu Agu and Helen Paul are four celebrities designated as Glo brand ambassadors.

Others are King Sunny Ade and Sir Victor Olaiya, both world renowned masters in Juju music and highlife music, respectively.

It also said the 34 celebrities were to complement the efforts of the existing ambassadors of the brand such as Bisade Ologunde (Lagbaja); Bezhiwa Idakula (Bez); Bright Okpocha (Basketmouth); Jude Abaga (MI ); Wande Coal, Chinedu Okolie (Flavour); Peter and Paul Okoye (PSquare); Waje Iruobe; Omawumi Megbele; Funke Akindele (Jenifa); Chukie Edozien (Lynxx); Sammie Okposo and Ego Ogbaro.

According to Glo, as brand representatives, they are vested with the responsibility of positively motivating their followers from all strata of life, not only to join the Globacom network, but also to recommend its products and services to others in their circles of influence.y
